Brett has 29 years experience in property investment, research and management, specialising in residential property investment and portfolio management for institutions, corporations and private investors.

Positions held include Research & Marketing Director, D.F. Johnson Corporation and CEO, Mercantile Mutual Funds Management Limited (now ING Bank).

Brett is an advocate of planned, counter-cyclical property investment.

He is a regular commentator on property investment and markets in Australia, co-author of The Wealth Power of Property, a licensed real estate agent and Justice of the Peace.

Colin Blair

Colin joined Quartile as Senior Property Investment Consultant in 1993. Colin's background is centred in the banking industry, where he gained 20 years experience with Rural Bank and State Bank of New South Wales.

After reading several publications on property investment, Colin's interest in property investment developed into a passion. 

He is constantly adding to his own substantial portfolio of investment property. 

Colin's patient and methodical approach to assisting clients with their property investment has earned him high praise.

Meredith Damon

Meredith has worked in the events & conference industry for over 25 years.

Meredith’s experience in hotel management, professional conference management and corporate conference management has given her a great understanding of what is required to host a successful event.

Kaye is responsible for researching and assessing all properties which are recommended to Quartile investors and for the supervision of Quartiles' property asset management division. 

Kaye has extensive property experience including management, sales, acquisitions,  syndicates and property funds and is highly regarded for her knowledge of all things property related.

John Whitfield

In the mid 1980’s driven by a long held passion for residential real estate, John turned his back on a successful career in advertising to enter the real estate industry.

Based in Sydney’s north west, but not content with simply being a local area expert, John was soon able to speak knowledgeably about not only what was driving the local market but also national and some international markets.

John joined Brett Johnson and Kaye Traylen at DF Johnson in 1990. Since moving to Perth in the 90’s John has maintained his involvement in real estate through property development and sales.

Ben Johnson

Ben has recently joined Quartile and as Brett's eldest son, is the fourth generation of the Johnson family to specialise in property market research and property investment consulting.

 

After 15 years managing investment property on Sydney's North Shore, Scott joined Quartile Property Network and was appointed Financial Controller.

Scott's aim is to provide Quartile clients with top quality service and maintain strong customer relations which is reflected in his professional and personable approach.

Jennie Frankel

Jennie has been in real estate for 7 years and is an active property investor. Jennie has a great understanding of business in general, has run her own business in the past and has always worked in very customer focused roles with extensive client liaison.

Attention to detail, patience and a can do attitude along with a great deal of common sense make Jennie perfect for this role. Jennie provides clients with top quality service keeping them informed at every step of the way about their properties.

Frank Barker

Frank’s enthusiasm for property through his own residential investments and small scale development first led him to Quartile Property Network as a client.

After acquiring a number of Quartile recommended properties he joined the company in 1998 as a property investment consultant.

Now with a wealth of experience in property investment, he proudly continues to provide excellent service to his many loyal and satisfied Quartile clients whilst adding to his own residential property equity.

Frank lives in the Kangaroo Valley on an idyllic property with his wife Cathy, their 5 children and a menagerie of animals.
